Davidson County Inmate Search & Jail Records

Jail records are files created to document an individual's entry into jail after they are arrested. The primary jails in the county are the Downtown Detention Center (DDC), the Correctional Development Center-Female (CDC-F), the Correctional Development Center-Male (CDM), and the Maximum Correctional Center (MCC). The Downtown Detention Center and the Correctional Development Center-Female are the only facilities that hold minimum, medium, and maximum security inmates. All facilities are managed by the Davidson County Sheriff's Office.

Davidson County jail records are open for public inspection. Individuals can look up an inmate using the Sheriff's Office Active Inmate Search tool. A search can be made on the portal by the inmate's name. Historical jail records can be accessed by contacting the Davidson County Sheriff's Office
